Born in the late 1800s, we have seen Mary Jane’s growing their popularity in dance halls at the feet of flapper girls and then worn by stars like Greta Garbo, Twiggy and Jane Birkin. Our interpretation of such a classic recalls the stylish 1920s footwear and is made of luxurious glossy patent leather shaped to a square pointed toe and a slender block heel that adds height. It is lined with soft pink leather and has a polished leather buckled arch strap. It is sultry and mischievous– and easily evokes l’insouciance de la jeunesse. They can be styled as an anchor to a pleated midi skirt, a short dress or straight / slightly flare pants or denim.
